For the past 25 years, Kirsten has dedicated her career to the art of the voice, evolving into an internationally engaged coach working at the highest levels of performance. Her approach is holistic: she believes that exceptional singing and acting require a seamless integration of vocal technique with physical and emotional energy. Whether preparing a principal for the world's most demanding opera stages or guiding an actor through a musically complex film role, her work is designed to unlock each artist's full expressive potential.

Opera Coaching

Kirsten prepares singers for main solo roles in opera productions across a wide range of leading European opera houses. Her holistic approach to voice and energy work supports each artist on a vocal, physical, and emotional level, ensuring they are fully prepared to play, sing, and articulate each role to the highest standard, while honoring the specific wishes of the conductor and director for every production.

As one of the few coaches in her field, Kirsten supports singers not only during the initial preparation of a role but also by attending stage and orchestra rehearsals. This presence allows her to provide ongoing feedback, helping the singer navigate their process through to the final performance. In addition to her work with individual artists, she advises on casting for opera, dance, and theatre productions.

Her extensive collaborative network includes preparing roles for productions led by conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Philippe Jordan, Vladimir Jurowski, Hartmut Haenchen, Antonio Fogliani, Andris Nelsons, and Daniele Rustioni at prestigious venues including the Bayreuth Festival, Salzburg Festival, Vienna State Opera, Bavarian State Opera, and the Opéra Bastille in Paris.

Coaching for Actors

Kirsten works with renowned actors to prepare for theatre, musical, and film performances. Previous clients include Sunnyi Melles, whom she prepared for the world premiere of Philip Glass's Alice, Sabin Tambrea, for whom she coached all musical scenes in the film Louis van Beethoven, and Hadewych Minis, who she prepared for her role as an opera singer performing an aria from Tosca in the film De Idylle by Aaron Rookus. Furthermore, Kirsten works on a regular basis with actors and actresses from the ensemble of the Burgtheater in Vienna.

Coaching for Non-Classical Singers

In addition to her work with international opera singers, Kirsten coaches regularly with non-classical artists. This includes preparing trance artist Susana for her world tour with Armin van Buuren. She also works as a studio coach for recording artists and serves as a voice expert and advisor to well-known choreographers and theatre makers.

Coaching & Communication Training for Businesses

Alongside her work in theatre and opera, Kirsten is regularly invited to share her expertise through private and group coaching sessions for high-level management and communication training, applying her deep understanding of voice and presence to the corporate world.
