Kirsten is regularly invited to present her work at international symposia on voice and performance, including:

Stimmsymposium in Hamburg
Alongside her artistic practice, she is active as a teacher in higher music education. Since 2022, she has held a teaching assignment at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim. She has previously taught at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp, the Conservatorio di Musica Lucio Campiani, and the HKU Conservatorium, where she worked with singers and young professionals on vocal technique, repertoire, and performance practice.
