Annual Masterclass ‘The Art of Singing’

Since 2013, the annual ‘Art of Singing’ masterclass has been held by Kirsten Schötteldreier on the Eibenhof estate in Bad Saarow. Every year this week-long masterclass attracts professional singers from different backgrounds across the world to prepare them for their future careers. Kirsten is often supported by professional singers like bariton Thomas Johannes Mayer (2015-2017) and tenor Burkhard Fritz (2018-2023).

The masterclass is made possible by the ‘Gesamtkunstwerk Klang e.V’, an association chaired by Kirsten. It serves as a platform for all arts in theater and music theater, creating holistic approaches to teach singers, performers and conductors. Additionally, it serves as a foundation to financially support promising and talented young singers, allowing them to participate in the masterclass and other coachings.
