Final Concert of the Art of Singing Masterclass 2026
We warmly invite you to the final concert of this year’s Art of Singing Masterclass. The concert will take place at the Gut Eibenhof in Bad Saarow on the 18th of July 2026 at 18:30.
Following one week of intensive artistic work, the participants of the masterclass will present a concert evening featuring opera arias, ensembles, and song repertoire developed during the course. They will be accompanied by our brilliant pianists Marcin Kozieł and Sabrina Avantario.
This year’s concert will be dedicated to the memory of bass-baritone Thomas Johannes Mayer, who unexpectedly passed away in December 2025.
Thomas Johannes Mayer was one of the founders of the Art of Singing Masterclass and a board member of the Art of Singing Foundation. Through his artistic vision, world-class talent, and support of other singers, he played an important role in shaping and developing the direction of the masterclass in its early years
In honour of his lasting commitment to our masterclass, the foundation’s annual scholarship programme will from this year onward be renamed the Thomas Johannes Mayer Scholarship. Each year, our scholarship provides selected young singers with full or partial financial support to allow participation in the masterclass.
We are looking forward to welcoming audiences, friends, and supporters again this year to celebrate music, young talent, and the spirit of artistic exchange that Thomas Johannes Mayer helped create.
